Gwyneth Paltrow Recorded Vocals For Coldplay’s New Album

Continuing in the most amicable celebrity split of all time, it has been revealed that Gwyneth Paltrow recorded vocals for her ex-husband, Chris Martin’s, new Coldplay album.

Well, it certainly beats only speaking through solicitors, doesn’t it?

The actress features on a track called ‘Everglow’, with 38-year-old Chris insisting that he’d asked the important people in his life to get involved with the band’s forthcoming LP ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’.

He told The Wall Street Journal: “Everyone who got asked to sing on our album has an important part in our lives … What I’m trying to learn in my life is the value of every human.”

Previously revealed guest-vocalists include Chris’ children, Noel Gallagher, Beyonce, and, perhaps our favourite cameo, Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

Too bloomin’ cute.

The album will be released early next month, and Chris explained the recording process, sharing: “Inclusiveness is the key thing, and it all comes from that ‘Guest House’ poem.

“The 'Choir’ started with my two kids coming in after school and recording.

“We recorded Blue Ivy Carter in New York when her mum Beyoncé was in the studio. It comes from learning about Greek tragedy, where the chorus chimes in at times.

“To me, when we use that sound, it’s to affirm what I’m saying. 'We agree with you, Chris. Keep singing.’”

Well, it definitely sounds a little bit spiritual - and we can’t wait to get our hands on the record.
