Hampton home catches fire after being struck by a vehicle

Hampton firefighters spent much of Wednesday afternoon fighting a fire on Manning Lane after a home was struck by a vehicle.

According to a tweet from the Hampton Police Department, firefighters responded to a call about 2:42 p.m. to the 300 block of Manning Lane. All occupants were able to get out of the home, and there are no reported injuries at this time, according to a tweet from Hampton Fire & Rescue.

PulsePoint reported the call was closed about 5:45 p.m.
