    Harrington College Announces New Website Launch

    Students who are interested in pursuing a degree program in the design field can now visit Harrington College’s updated website. Harrington College released the new site at http://www.harrington.edu on Monday, November 28th. The updates include detailed faculty profiles, updated program pages, an on-site application form, and more.

    Harrington College of Design has just launched a new version of its website at http://www.harrington.edu. Designed as a comprehensive update to Harrington College’s online profile, the new site has added detailed sections within a streamlined, sharply designed layout to promote the user experience.

    Harrington’s new website provides prospective and current design students superior usability as they explore information on the Chicago school’s three major program areas, which include Graphic & Communication Design, Photography, and Interior Design. Notably, the site also offers extensive information on Harrington’s faculty members and course listings.

    The restructured layout and clean design of Harrington.edu allows students to navigate the site easily. Erik Parks, the President of Harrington College of Design, believes that the new site better represents the college’s mission. “The update of our website reflects the dynamism at Harrington and the college's commitment to transparency in providing prospective and current students with the information for which they're looking,” he said.

    Prospective design students can benefit most from the new information displayed on Harrington’s site. Highlights include a full-fledged “Faculty Profile” section that features descriptive bios of department chairs as well as instructors from all three program areas. Students can also see first-hand accounts of the Harrington experience by checking out the alumni success stories and testimonials.

    More significantly, the new Web design extends beyond the curriculum to feature enhanced student involvement. Student and alumni work is showcased throughout the site, giving viewers a glimpse of what real students are producing in their design classes. Students can also keep up to date on the latest news and events through the site blog, called the Harrington Buzz.

    When students explore the design program options or the associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree levels at Harrington.edu, applying for enrollment is just one click away. Students can even apply online, making for a smooth application process that can be supplemented with direct help from an experienced online representative.
