"Oh Yeah ?? Well my Dad's carbon footprint is smaller than your Dad's carbon footprint,Anyday ! " ( New 21st century playground talk.)

There is no climate change! Why won't the rest of the world listen to our Republican politicians. They would never lie. Honest.

If you are going to Artica, or anartica you better take a jacket ! And you might want to dress in layers !

Climate Change experts warn us about the effects of Climate Change..
but they avoid telling us solutions.
      All I know is this;
Humans cannot control the climate, we can't control the weather, we can't control nature.
What humans can control... is our behavior..
      So "Stop Wasting Energy".
Turn off the lights during the day, turn off the TV when we're not watching it, unplug the computer when not in use, Don't make unnecessary trips in the car (walk/ ride a bike).
There are many other ways to save energy.. just slow down and think about it.

Sorry Tom, but the weather is being controlled as we speak. Check into the geo-engineering projects happening in your area. Arial spraying is controlling the climate. Look up and see for yourself........
      • buggrthat 3 mths ago
Basically you are right, we cannot control the climate, but we can really muck it up.
      • dr_mabeuse 3 mths ago
There are plenty of solutions being offered, but deniers reject them all.

Yes and Putin is very interested in claiming the entire Artic for Russia. I would like to see him tied to a drill-bit to see and test that bottom "face-hand."

science progresses by testing predictions against real world data obtained from direct observations and rigorous experiments. The stakes in the global-warming debate are much too high to ignore this observational evidence and declare the science settled. Though there are many more scientists who are extremely well qualified and have reached the same conclusions we have, we stress again that science is not a democratic exercise and our conclusions must be based on observational evidence.

The computer-model predictions of alarming global warming have seriously exaggerated the warming by CO2 and have underestimated other causes. Since CO2 is not a pollutant but a substantial benefit to agriculture, and since its warming potential has been greatly exaggerated, it is time for the world to rethink its frenzied pursuit of decarbonization at any cost.

Ah yes, the sixteen frauds and crackpots.

Let's continue an examination of the 16 scientists bringing truth to climate science. Jan Breslow is a noted reasearcher in the field of genetics. The thing is that nothing in his history indicates that he has any credentials in the field of climate science. Roger Cohen is the former manager of Strategic Planning and Programs for ... EXXON/MOBIL! No conflict of interest here. What is interesting is that the next name on the list, Edward David, was President of Research and Engineering for ... EXXON. Strange how that name keeps coming up. I could go on but this will do for now. These 16 scientists are frauds and mostly paid lackeys of the oil companies or righ wing "think tanks".

@Dixie, it's a long post, but it boils down to this: The Wall Street Journal recently published a letter signed by 16 "scientists" skeptical of Global Warming, some of whom are known cranks and others work either on behalf of the oil industry or for the pro-industry (no matter what) George C Marshall Foundation. So what? Perhaps you don't know that the Wall Street Journal refused to publish a countering letter by 255 scientists from the U.S. National Academy of Sciences? It was finally published in the journal Science, instead. If a letter by these 16 "scientists" is so significant to you, I'm sure you'll want to read a letter on the same subject by 250. You can find it, by looking up "Climate Change and the Integrity of Science", but perhaps you'll be suspicious, as it was signed by 15x as many scientists, and it appeared in one of the most respected journals of science in the world, rather than in the conservative editorial pages of the WSJ. It's an excellent letter, and I encourage you to read it.

The world will quickly be consumed by the ravenous praying mantis that is mankind.

There will be nothing left, but waste.

And bands of vigilantes scouring for dregs......................

Not really news. Our own Navy and CIA (organizations not really noted for liberal socialist policies) have been planning for an arctic ocean that's largely ice-free in summer.
    • buggrthat  •  3 mths ago
I wonder if the pinheads know the DoD have already accepted that it is all real and they have been developing plans and analysis to deal with the changes that are coming.

Global warming IS NOT real ! Al Gore IS NOT real ! Santa Claus IS NOT real ! Climate change is real, but has nothing to do with Global Warming! The word "Renewable" was made up by the lib tards ! We must have coal and oil ! Why, you might ask ! Because I like to see at night ! I like to stay warm in the winter ! I like to stay cool in the summer ! DRILL-BABY-DRILL !
    • buggrthat  •  3 mths ago
Once again pinheads, note the story is not about if, it is about when and what needs to done because of global warming. You can go back to babbling among yourselves now.

The thought occurs that wheat farming will be shifting north into Canada. Major mining operations will shift to Canada where huge new areas will open up. I'm thinking that Canada could become the replacement for the the U.S. with the new Mexico along their southern border.

What are you doing about your carbon footprint Buggr. Your preaching to every one about Co2 destroying the earth, yet you use electricity, use fossil fuel transportation, more than likely live in a wooden house. Please tell us what we should do? Or are you just a hypocrite? I would bet I have a smaller carbon footprint that you do.
      • buggrthat 3 mths ago
        Good diversion Erich.
      • erich 3 mths ago
Didnt think you would answer that. Practice what you preach!
    • Wyatt Gibson  •  3 mths ago
Well now that we have melted a new route, lets just keep using it for even more polluting cargo ships! ASAP! Lets not not even consider that cargo ships helped significantly in destroying the ice! Go global!
    • Truth  •  3 mths ago
The average winter temp in Chicago this year has been at least 10 degrees warmer than usual and the snow fall is 10% of normal. I'll take all the global warming I can get.
      • jan 3 mths ago
Learn the difference between weather and climate. One aspect of climate change
        is big fluctuations in weather.

Being raised in the seventies, it was an ice age looming and global overpopulation. All invented by globalists and the Club of Rome. I say bring it on, civilization needs a reset! It's clear we haven't learned a thing and allowed Corporate religions to keep us so ignorant for so long. I say reset and kill the Bankers!!!
    • Daniel  •  Denver, Colorado  •  3 mths ago
Unless the sun changes position or the earth rotates on its axis the ice on the poles will come and go as it always has. Global warming (that is actually a lie) is caused by the sun and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
      • ChadK 3 mths ago
Exactly right and no amount of "carbon taxing" is going to change it either, except for making Al Gore a billionair!

      • Frank 3 mths ago
Daniel, dozens of national science academies and major league scientific societies like the American Meteorological Society, the Geological Society Of America, and the American Physical Society say humans are causing dangerous changes in climate. How is it that you know more about a sccientific issue than all those distinguished scientists.
