Heico increases semi-annual dividend by 17 percent to 7 cents per share from 6 cents per share
NEW YORK (AP) -- Defense and aerospace contractor Heico is raising its semi-annual dividend by 17 percent to 7 cents per share from 6 cents per share.
The company said Tuesday that the dividend will be paid on July 22 to shareholders of record on July 8.
This is Heico Corp.'s 70th straight semi-annual dividend since 1979.
In December the company announced that it was nearly doubling the size of a special dividend to $2.14 per share from $1.14 per share.
Heico has a flight support segment based in Hollywood, Fla., and an electronic technologies group based in Miami.
Its shares finished at $52.27 on Monday. That is near the high end of their 52-week range of $34.01 to $52.50.
