Helen Mirren might be 70, but she’s truly young at heart, making this very apparent by her choice in dress for Monday night’s 25th annual Gotham Independent Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

For the occasion, she chose a Dolce & Gabbana fit-and-flare dress with three-quarter sleeves. She boldly accessorized the multi-colored midi with orange pumps and a cerulean skinny belt. Upon accepting her career tribute, she told the audience, “I have to tell you a story about f***ing the queen.” She continued, “When The Queen was first screened at Venice, I’d never seen it before, and neither had my husband Taylor. In the first scene I’m in the full regalia, and I turn and look at the camera and there’s silence in the cinema. And my husband lets out this huge laugh. So I lean over to him and say, ‘Darling, do you think you’ll ever f*** me again?‘”

While displaying a mature sense of humor, her dress was anything but. From Dolce & Gabbana’s mamma-themed Fall 2015 collection, the double silk organza piece is covered in children’s doodles of a smiling sun, flowers, rainbows, ponds, and towns.

Funny enough, she’s actually worn the whimsical number before. In September, she donned the dress for the opening night of Verdi’s Otello at New York’s Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center. She styled it differently, opting for white high heels and a black boxy bag and her side bangs had a little more product in them for a more exaggerated look.

The actress proves it: 70 is the new 10.
