Tune in to see Charleston couple Ryan and Krystine Edwards help clients find their dream home in the area. Of course, the homes aren't exactly move-in-ready, the couple will be renovating fixer uppers, which means we're in store for some beautiful "before and afters."

3/9/16: New HGTV show alert! The channel that brought you Fixer Upper, House Hunters, and more is set to air a brand-new pilot called Charleston Charm on March 20 at noon. The show follows Ryan and Krystine Edwards, a married couple with two young boys from Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, as they use their interior design, construction and real estate expertise to help folks hunt for Charleston homes to completely gut and renovate.

"History is alive and thrives in Charleston, but the city also has a great, cool vibe, which makes it an amazing place to live," Krystine Edwards told The Post and Courier."We want to show how much we care about keeping our city beautiful by helping others rejuvenate older homes and bringing in a little local charm."

Ryan co-owns the design-build construction company Sceltas Build + Consult in Mount Pleasant. Krystine is an interior decorator and realtor with Williams Means Real Estate, but admits it was her husband's knack for flipping houses that led them to a pitch from a TV production company.

"Ryan and I help a client find a home here in Charleston, renovate it and give it some of that Charleston Charm. We help families establish their roots and begin their lives here. It's amazing that we get to be a part of such an important moment in people's lives!" Krystine blogged about the show's premise.

In the pilot episode, the Edwards help a young couple from California put down Charleston roots by helping them find and renovate a home. Their mission? To choose among a beachfront property and two historic homes in downtown.

If the pilot is successful, Charleston Charm could become a regular series on HGTV. We can't wait to tune in!
