    Dr. Jeffrey D. Gold is a Board-Certified surgeon with over 30 years of experience in eye medicine and surgery with special expertise in laser technology. He graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1964. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Tennessee in 1968, he completed his ophthalmology residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. After practicing for over 15 years in the New Haven, CT area as an Ophthalmologist, utilizing laser technology in treating eye disease since the early 1980's, he moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 1991 where he perfected his Laser Vision Correction techniques. (For those of you with long memories, he is the same Dr. Gold who practiced in New Haven, CT, on Sherman Ave., near The Hospital of St. Raphael. He had a beard and wore clogs!)

    He returned to the New Haven, CT Area in a new practice in early 2003 excited to expand his laser expertise into the field of Laser Hair and Vein Removal. Ophthalmology was the first branch of medicine to use lasers extensively.
