    The 254-173 roll call Wednesday by which the House passed a bill that gives the president the line-item veto, or authority to pick out specific items in spending bills for elimination.

    A "yes" vote is a vote to pass the bill.

      Maybe that will stop some of the special earmarks that get tacked on to every bill
      to payoff Congress members for their vote. Revenue/Tax laws are the worst.
      There is always a list of "exceptions" to a tax bill to pay back corporations,
      unions and PACs for their Congressional bribes.
