The computer and printer maker's stock rose after CEO Meg Whitman reiterated on CNBC that revenue could grow next fiscal year.
Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., up $10.10 at $34.66
India's Apollo Tyres said it is buying the Ohio-based tire maker for about $2.22 billion to boost its presence in North America.
Boston Beer Co. Inc., up $8.57 at $165.06
A Goldman Sachs analyst boosted the brewer's stock rating and price target on the success of its Angry Orchard cider.
LDK Solar Co. Ltd., down 9 cents at $1.37
Shares of the Chinese solar company continued to fall a day after posting a slightly larger first-quarter loss.
