    Hulu Plus Now on Wii Coming to Nintendo 3DS Later This Year

    Hulu Plus became available as an option for the Wii on Thursday, making the service available on all three major gaming console platforms.

    Wii users can access Hulu Plus's content, including The Biggest Loser, Modern Family, Community and other shows for $7.99 a month. Sometime before the end of the year, Hulu Plus will also be available for Nintendo 3DS users. Wii users interested in accessing Hulu Plus can find the company's free app in the Wii Shop Channel. Users can then access content via the Wii Remote controller.

    A plan to migrate Hulu Plus to Wii had apparently been in the works since last October. Reports at the time said Hulu Plus would hit Wii sometime before the end of 2011. A Hulu rep declined to say whether the integration was behind schedule and dismissed the reports as "rumor and speculation."

    Hulu introduced Hulu Plus in June 2010 with PlayStation 3 integration, though the app was also available on other platforms including the iPad and iPhone. The app became available via Microsoft's Xbox 360 last April. As with Netflix, which is also available on the Wii, the same Hulu Plus subscription can be activated on more than one device.

    The multiple interfaces have helped Hulu spread the paid service: Last September, Hulu Plus broke 1 million subscribers. That was slightly ahead of schedule. CEO Jason Kilar had predicted that Hulu would reach that milestone by the end of 2011.

      Hulu plus is a terrible product. Dont bother. Buy purchasing Hulu Plus you get NONE of the regular hulu content. I had purchased it for use on my blu ray player only to find out I couldnt access there regular programming as there are different licensing agreements and I didnt pay for regular product and it was not offered. In addition you still get all the commercials that you always do. Until they offer regular Hulu as well as Hulu Plus on these additional mediums it is a useless product.
