    Author Alvin JacQues releases his second book, “Catastrophic Gumbo: Part Two”

    In author Alvin JacQues’ debut book Catastrophic Gumbo: Part 1, the minister and stage actor delivered a compelling, heart-wrenching account of his survival of Hurricane Katrina.     About the Author


    Alvin JacQues is a survivor of Hurricane Katrina who worked as a minister before the hurricane. A performer for the last 30 years, he has gained stage recognition in the United States and abroad. He lives in Pennsylvania and has four grown children. This is his second book.
