Looks like someone is more excited about Kim Kardashian's new hand-painted, 'Ye-gifted Birkin than Betabeat is.

Google's answer to iTunes, Google Play, is dishing out free downloads of Yeezus, Kanye West's masterful record from earlier this year, Rolling Stone reports.

They're also giving out Chvrches' The Bones of What You Believe, heavily discounting more albums and doling out free singles from the likes of Drake, Arcade Fire, M.I.A., Cut Copy and Major Lazer.

So to what do we owe this joyous year-end dump of 2013's best popular music? Google Play says it's simply a limited-time-only opportunity for staffers to share their faves of the year.

More likely, though, is that it's a ploy for good press and a way to get people enrolled in Google Wallet. Hey, we fell for it.

And we're gonna let you finish, Google Play, but this year, iTunes had the best exclusive deal of all time. Of. All. Time.
