    Hydroelectric Power in China: Environmental policies to benefit industry

    During the next five years, China will initiate a 160 million kW project for the Hydroelectric Power industry to increase the ability of using alternative energy and to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions. Total revenue for the Hydroelectric Power industry in China is therefore forecast to increase at an annualized rate of 11.3% in the next five years to total $47.46 billion in 2016, according to IBISWorld, America’s largest publisher of industry research.
