Hysterical video shows us what it would be like if Google was a guy
The next time you pose a ridiculous question to Google, like how many walruses you’d have to stack on top of one another to reach the top of the Empire State Building, take a moment to imagine that the ubiquitous search engine is actually just some guy at a desk. Would you still search for the same inane factoids about celebrities and videos of people fighting in their backyards if you had to go into someone’s office to get the results you were looking for?
CollegeHumor has been asking that question for the past several months, and the comedians at the popular site have just released the third installment of the recurrently funny “What if Google Was a Guy?” series. This time, a cat, a washed-up rockstar and Siri are all looking to join in the chaotic fun. Also, Google’s predictive search sure is disturbing, but as Google says, “It’s not me, it’s them.”
We’ve got to clean up our act, or these videos are just going to get worse and worse. I’m still shivering thinking about those Sonic the Hedgehog pictures.
