iBoostUp for Mac helps keep your computer running smoothly by finding and removing all kinds of junk and other unwanted files that accumulate over time. It also includes some handy extra features to further enhance your user experience.
Pros
Quick and efficient: iBoostUp for Mac works quickly, completing all scans and removals in a very short amount of time. And unlike many similar apps we've tested, this app did not turn up any new issues in the second scan when we completed two, back-to-back. To complete a scan, all you have to do is select the areas you want included in the sweep, and then let the software take care of the rest.
Alerts and checks: During a scan, iBoostUp for Mac will pause and alert you when it's about to delete any potentially necessary information. For instance, if you leave all default options checked, the Downloads folder is included in the initial scan. But during the cleaning phase, the app will check to make sure you really want to remove all items contained in this folder. If you're not sure, you can skip it without aborting the entire session.
Cons
Mixed interface: The paid and free versions of this app share the same interface, and paid features are not separated out or marked in any way. That can make using the app a bit frustrating, especially at first, since it appears that you have access to a lot of tools that you would really have to pay for to use. And while some of these make it clear that that's the case as soon as you select them, others allow you to complete a scan and then prompt you to pay only when you want to complete the repair process.

iBoostUp for Mac is a smooth and efficient program that can help you keep your computer in good working order. Its clear and intuitive functionality make it a great choice for users of all experience levels, although it would be nice if paid features were at least grouped separately from the free ones.
