Transfer options: Once you've taught this program to recognize your iOS device, you can manage backups and data transfers either via USB connection or Wi-Fi. For the Wi-Fi backups to work, the device and computer both need to be connected to the same network. But after the initial setup, the app will detect the device automatically once the other criteria are met.
Backup possibilities: This app enables you to create manual backups or to have automatic backups created each time the device is detected. You can also choose to have backups encrypted, restore data from a backup, or clone one device to another.
Cons
No real Help: There is no real Help file associated with this program. The only Help link takes you to a limited FAQs page with information on popular topics and a bit of installation information.
Bottom Line
iMazing for Mac is a useful tool for managing backups and other types of data transfers from your iOS device to your computer and vice versa.
