immixGroup Wins NASA SEWP V Contract Awards

New Contracts Make IT Products Available to Government Agencies and Channel Partners

MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwired - March 31, 2015) - immixGroup, Inc., which helps technology companies do business with the government, announced today it was awarded two Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V contracts by NASA. Through these new contracts, immixGroup will offer enterprise technology products and services from hundreds of IT vendors to its government customers and will support its network of channel partners that do not hold their own SEWP V contracts.

immixGroup is currently a SEWP IV contractor and has provided over $738 million in products and services under that contract since 2007. The effective ordering period for the new SEWP V awards is anticipated to begin in the coming months.

SEWP V contracts are commercial firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) delivery order contracts with an ordering ceiling of $20 billion. They have an effective ordering period of 10 years, with a 5-year base period and one 5-year option. As government-wide acquisition contracts (GWACs) they can accept orders from all NASA centers, all federal agencies, and their contractors. According to NASA, the principal purpose of the SEWP V contracts is "to provide state-of-the-art computer technologies, high-end scientific and engineering processing capabilities, network equipment and peripherals."

Successful Offerors under this solicitation were evaluated by NASA based upon their management/technical approach, price, and past performance. immixGroup's successful proposal emphasized the company's strength in four specific areas, including:

  • Government and technology industry knowledge

  • Strategic relationships with technology manufacturers and channel partners

  • The depth and breadth of the immixGroup product portfolio

  • The company's automation capabilities and ISO-certified business processes
