    Information Technology Programs Added to IADT-Orlando Curriculum

    For students who want to learn more about the information technology industry, there is now a degree program to match their interests at IADT-Orlando. The school recently added two new offerings to its curriculum: an Associate of Science in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

    At IADT-Orlando, tech-savvy students can pursue their interests through the school’s two new degree offerings. Both the associate’s and bachelor’s of Information Technology programs feature a variety of hands-on learning opportunities that can help students prepare for real-world opportunities in this rapidly evolving field.

    These IT programs feature instruction in all kinds of industry-current topics, including Web programming, virus detection, database design and development, and PC troubleshooting. The goal is to help interested students gain fundamental knowledge about the installation and management of information systems, intranets and extranets for organizations of all sizes and scopes.

    Some of the Information Technology courses available through these two degree programs include Web Programming, Security Fundamentals, Object Oriented Programming, End User Support, Database Design and Development, and Linux Operating Systems.

    Students enrolled in one of these Information Technology degree programs can gain a thorough understanding of networking technologies for local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), as well as how to configure and administer networks within a Windows environment.

    The associate’s and bachelor’s IT degrees at IADT-Orlando combine engaging classroom instruction with hands-on training to offer a comprehensive learning experience. Motivated students can find the resources they need to pursue both educational and career goals.
