    Innovative Android Ad Platform Delivers 10 Seconds Audio Ads, Enabling App Developers with a Powerful New Way to Monetize Free Apps

    sellAring, the first audio-based mobile ad network for Android smart phones, announces the launch of its innovative ad platform. sellAring provides revenue to Android app developers by playing short audio ad to their users during the Ring Back Tone time, the otherwise wasted time before a called party answers the phone.

    “sellAring is a powerhouse opt-in advertising platform that, unlike traditional mobile advertising, appeals to all three levels of the ad chain,” explained Zohar Halachmi, Founder and CEO of sellAring. “This engaging approach means that advertisers realize increased CTR and ROI while app developers enjoy an additional revenue stream. And importantly, we do all of this without interfering with app usage, or delaying the phone call.”

    App developers can now earn considerably more revenue, without compromising the usability or aesthetics of their app. The sellAring SDK is easily integrated with Android apps; any app developer can add the sellAring engine on a revenue-sharing basis. And developers who embed the sellAring SDK before March 9th will get an 80% share of revenue. An 80/20 split instead of the regular 60/40. Offer for a limited time only and ends the week after the GSMA Mobile World Congress (Barcelona, Feb/2012).

    Advertisers see increased engagement through audio ads that play as the user waits for the call to be answered, capturing the users’ attention more effectively than a typical visual banner ad. The audio ads are targeted according to app type, location and other demographics for better results. Plus, following the call, a user can be prompted to request more information from the advertiser using a Click-to-Action menu that can be customized for specific responses. A Click-To-URL button takes the user to the advertiser's landing page. Make-A-Call triggers a call to a pre-defined number. And up to three Info Request buttons: request that the advertiser calls the caller, send info by email or SMS. All these factors add up to produce a higher CTR and substantially higher eCPM for the app developer.
