You’ve checked out the stream, you’ve logged online, you’ve maybe even made the trek to Beantown. Now it’s time to start the show. Live from the Paramount Theatre in Boston, we shall commence on RecruitFest! 2010. Today is the day that we’ve set out to conquer (in the words of China Gorman) “what we actually can do differently to impact the performance of our organizations”.

    How Candidates Use Search Engines

    Leader: Tim Dineen

    Time: 11:00 am – 11:20 am

Most of us have heard about SEO by now, but what does this really mean and what does it have to do with recruiting? Go beyond the tech talk and geek speak as Onward Search’s Tim Dineen breaks down the fundamentals search engine optimization and marketing to understand how these powerful tools can effectively integrate into a comprehensive search strategy. Time: 1:30 pm – 1:50 pm

Our double header session on branding gets underway with a debate that might join Lincoln vs. Douglas, Kennedy vs. Nixon or HR Specialist vs. HR Generalist in the annals of history: employment brand vs. personal brand. Winning the war on talent means choosing sides, and that’s why we’ve got two top branding experts to discuss which brand recruiting professionals should focus their time and resources on developing.
