    Integrity Health Franchises Offers Synergistic Treatment for Type II Diabetes

    Integrity Health is offering a 60-day diabetes treatment program at its New Hampshire facilities for only $59.00.

    Integrity Health Franchises located in southern New Hampshire announces their new synergistic protocol for the treatment of type II diabetes. The program will be available to women living within 30 miles of the Manchester, New Hampshire area. The treatment protocol will last for 60 days and the program will cost $59.00, less than a dollar a day.

    Participants in the program will receive specific exercise prescription and low glycemic meal planning along with behavioral modification coaching. Integrity franchisor and exercise physiologist Rocco Boulay states; “The program will address the underlying conditions employing a practical approach that no only educates the individual but also provides a step-by-step solution to getting diabetes under control.”

    Today diabetes has grown to over 26 million in children and adults in the United States, that’s over 9% of the population. These 2011 statistics report 19 million have been diagnosed and 7 million currently undiagnosed. To make things more urgent is the fact that there are over 79 million people who are considered “pre-diabetic”. In other words, these people are on the way to becoming diagnosed diabetics.

    The complications related to this epidemic are far reaching. Over 68% of the deaths of people with heart disease and stroke were related to diabetes. Adults 20 years and older with self reported diabetes have high blood pressure in 67% of known cases, or systolic and diastolic pressures of 140/90 mmHg or higher respectively.

    Other conditions such as kidney disease, neuropathies, and limb amputations are common to those whose diabetes is neglected or left untreated. The cost of diabetes in the United States in 2007 reached a staggering $174 billion with direct costs of $116 billion and an indirect cost of $58 billion (including disability, loss time at work and premature deaths).

    Integrity Health’s vision is to reach out to other health and fitness professionals nation wide and institute their education / treatment protocols for those suffering from this “treatable” condition with a practical, economical approach.

    Boulay concludes, “It is difficult to make anyone accountable for a condition that’s main cause is attributed to lack of activity and poor food choices. When we provide our citizens with the education and tools necessary to reduce and eradicate this condition [diabetes] then, and only then will we be able to get this epidemic condition under control."
