The analyst apparently said that the 1,810mAh battery is real, but was only used for testing purposes. Naturally, these battery rumors can’t be confirmed at this time, as Apple never shares anything with the public when it comes to unreleased products.

Various reports detailed Apple’s struggle with battery dimensions. The company’s suppliers reportedly had issues creating even thinner batteries for the handset – the iPhone 6 will supposedly be just 6mm thin – although such issues were overcome, other reports said.

Apple is confirmed to unveil the iPhone 6 on September 9, at a special media event during which it’ll likely reveal more details about the phone’s battery. After all, battery life will be an extremely important feature for the iPhone 6, which will not only be thinner than predecessors, but also pack a bigger display with a higher resolution.
