Israel defense chief: Iran sanctions won't work

Attacking an embassy by ordinary students is an impossible task in a country like Iran with its brutal police force unless it is allowed to take place for political gains.
The question to ask is who is gaining from a move like this and why is the police allowing it to happen.
To even think anything else is just too crazy.
If a few students can break through the police so easily today, how come the 100s of 1000s could not do the same 2009?
This is just another bullsh-t.

Sanctions won't work and has not worked because both China and Russia are selling Iran the parts they need to produce nuclear warheads.

Yep, don't make things more complicated than they have to be. Your neighbor says they want to annhilate you and the world would be better off without you. Your catch your neighbor stockpiling guns and explosives and gasoline cans and trying to hide it from you. You ask the police for help and they dither. You ask other neighbors for help and they dither. What do you do? You attack first, and you do it with as much surprise as you can create, if you care about your family and yourself.

The average person knows this.....leftist countries and govts don't. The only thing Iran knows is who has the biggest hammer. A MOAB or two at their front door should get their attention.

What really scares me is is the people who know everything yet have nothing to say have to post multiple times to prove their point. However, if you look really really close at a point it is just a little round circle that resembles a zero.

Unless the Iranian population rises up and takes back their country from the ruling religious right - there is be at least a limited strike on Iran nuclear facilities. The only questions are when and by whom. At least when Saddam was still in power he kept Iran in check. Geez, we have sure gotten ourselves in some deepshet in the in the middle east.

Sanctions have NEVER been effective on Iran.

What kind of sh/it is this? I've been reading many articles here in yahoo lately about Israel wanting to strike Iran,this sounds to me that Israel is like a mad barking dog threatning I ran since 2003,israel is scared of Iran! F....king cowards!!

attacked and nearly smashed Israel.

Sanctions on Iran will be about as effective as the sanctions on North Korea.

And in the meanwhile... Our college students just discovered a 3000 miles underground tunnel (boasted by their diggers as The Great Wall of China underground) use to move around 3000 nuclear warheads of the Chinese military. Just wondering... are we going to sanction China? Are we going to "advise" Israel before we attack China? Are we going to turn China into the next Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan?

I think the West and Israel should start thinking about planting some MUSHROOMS in Iran , that would work, they are begging for it they want to be Martyrs respect their wishes.

A nuclear Iran is not only a threat to Israel, but to the whole middle east. In their desire to advance shia Islam, they would have to curb Saoudia and it's wahabbi doctrine, and the best way to do it, would be to infect with radioactive material Saoudia's oil reserves, with a devastating economic result.The US would have no choice to turn to Iranian oil, but at very disavantageous rates since Iran would favor Russia and China first.This would bring america to collapse economically, and not be the leading world country anymore.To prevent that, Saoudia would demand nuclear weapons (and with their money and oil influence), they would get them in a very short term. Egypt and turkey would aquire them as well, to protect sunni islam against #$%$ imperialism.You would then have the whole middle east turned nuclear, when most of the countries in it, are falling into islamists hands.For Israel, the situation would be very difficult, because any attack by the palestinians, or the hizbollah, would be watched by Iran, and they would threaten to use their atomic capability if we dare respond, and (without a doubt), the US and Europe would pressure us not to, leaving the israeli population at the mercy of any terrorist group who want to **** with us.
