Gaza Rockets, Israel Airstrikes Resume as Ceasefire and Talks Collapse

After rocket fire from Gaza broke a temporary truce on Tuesday, Israel resumed Gaza with airstrikes and pulled its delegation from ceasefire talks in Cairo. There were reports of injuries in Gaza and two Palestinians, a woman and a two-year-old child, were reportedly killed in an airstrike.

massive barrage of rockets from Gaza, has ensued including a number fired at Israel's south, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv (Israel's largest city), and its international airport. Just moments ago, part of a rocket landed in a road in Tel Aviv, which has only sporadically figured in the six-week conflict.

It's being reported that Israel may be expanding its operation in the coming hours.

According to the Times of Israel, Hamas' armed wing has claimed responsibility for the rocket attacks.

Hamas’s Al Aqsa radio says the Al Qassam Brigades are responsible for the latest fire at Israel."
