    Ivara Cloud Content Community Grows with addition of APT Asset Strategy Library

    Ivara Corporation, the industry leader and innovator in asset performance management solutions, today announced a partnership with Asset Performance Technologies, Inc. (APT) to allow Ivara to offer its customers the APT Asset Strategy Library (ASL) through Ivara’s cloud content community, EXP Cloud. Ivara customers can now purchase APT’s library and immediately have it available for use in Ivara EXP Enterprise via EXP Cloud. Because APT is directly connected to EXP Cloud, they can update their library content and provide instant updates to their licensed customers using EXP Enterprise.

    The APT Asset Strategy Library is a comprehensive collection of failure modes and preventative maintenance –the largest, most in-depth and high quality library of its kind. This world-renowned library captures over 15,000 man-years of experience. It has been at work for over 16 years solving reliability problems using 390 adaptable, universal equipment types, comprising:


    • 25,000 Failure Mechanisms

    • 2,400 PM Tasks and Intervals

    • 75,000 As Found Conditions

    The APT library was first developed through the effort of the Power industry experts at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and refined over the last 16 years through structured engineering reviews and assessments by maintenance experts and equipment vendors from multiple industries.

    To provide further value to Ivara customers, APT and Ivara have worked together to build in the APT library into EXP Cloud such that the content can be quickly downloaded directly into an analysis for review of the operating context and risk, thus streamlining the creation of asset reliability programs in Ivara EXP Enterprise.
