"Jenny from the Block" has a request - if you're going to sing her songs, please sing them well!

Singer-actress-mogul Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Latin music superstar Marc Anthony, sat down with Access Hollywood's Tony Potts on Thursday and dished about fashion and J.Lo's new gig as a judge for "American Idol."

"Sometimes it's great, and sometimes it's like, 'Oh no!'" Jennifer told Tony, when asked how she feels when "Idol" contestants audition by singing one of her songs. "But it's always entertaining.

"[Judging 'Idol'] has been like sitting there and watching the show for five hours a day, which, hello, how else would I want to spend my days except in bed watching 'American Idol' all day?" Jennifer continued. "It's been so much fun."

After the "Louboutins" singer returned home following her first day of "Idol" work, her husband said he was thrilled to hear her describe the experience as "great."

"I was pleasantly surprised," Marc told Tony, of his wife's enthusiasm. "She was like, 'I think I [can] really do this!'

"She was looking forward to the next day," Marc added.

Jennifer and Marc have starred in a film together (2006's "El Cantante"), worked on multiple songs together, and have a set of adorable 2-year-old twins. Now, the powerhouse pair is setting out on yet another hand-in-hand project - a fashion line for Kohl's.

"We've had the privilege of wearing all kinds of things -- from the most expensive to the cheapest -- in the range of our lives," Jennifer told Tony. "So it's exciting to be able to take all of that experience and go through our closets over the years and say, 'This fit great!' and 'This was amazing.'"

"As we speak, there are five people in our closets in both our homes scouring through stuff that we've collected over the years that really represents our style," Marc added. "This [line] is definitely going to represent who we are."

While Jennifer's signature style sense is admired by millions of fans worldwide, the 41-year-old star confessed that when it comes to her looks, there's only one opinion that truly matters.

"At the end of the day, you know, I really only care what [Marc] thinks," Jennifer told Tony, before flashing her husband a shy smile.

"Oh that's sweet. You got that on film?" Marc asked the Access crew, laughing. "Can you please send me a clip of that? I'm gonna [play] it on loop at the house!"

Jennifer and Marc's new fashion line will be available in Kohl's stores nationwide beginning Fall 2011.
