Backward Day
Leonardo da Vinci wrote backward. Not only did the artist and inventor write from right to left, he wrote his letters backward. You can test out backward writing on the Museum of Science's page. What else can you do to celebrate Backward Day? Wear your shirt backward or eat dessert before dinner.
Or check out these movies and TV episodes in which the stories were told in reverse order: "Memento," "How I Met Your Mother" episode of "Lucky Penny" (2007) and the "Seinfeld" episode of "The Betrayal" (1997).

Brandy Alexander Day
If it's good enough for "Mad Men" and women, it's good enough for you. The sweet drink is a classic "girly" drink boasting almost as many calories as a White Russian but with nearly half the fat. Brandy, creme de cacao and cream are shaken with ice to make an almost milkshake, making it like a dessert. After Prohibition was repealed, the flavors did inspire a sweet treat -- the brandy Alexander Pie made with a graham cracker crust, chocolate, whipped cream, brandy and creme de cacao, according to "The Oxford Companion to American Food and Drink."
