Jared Leto and Mark Ruffalo Wore Nightmarish Disguises So They Could Enjoy Comic Con in Peace

If you happened to see two nightmarishly bold figures at New York Comic Con this weekend, they might have been Jared Leto and Mark Ruffalo. In an effort to avoid people asking them about dead rats or pining for Marvel scoop, both Leto and Ruffalo decided to don some downright grotesque disguises during their respective NYCC visits:

Of course, going to great and admirably creative lengths in the name of comic-based art is nothing new for Leto. According to Suicide Squad co-star Will Smith, Leto remained so deeply in character throughout the filming process that he never actually met the real Jared Leto:

"I've never actually met Jared Leto," Smith said during a recent Beats 1 interview. "We worked together for 6 months and we've never exchanged a word outside of 'Action!' and 'Cut!' I literally have not met him yet. So, the first time I see him will be 'Hey, Jared. What's up?'"
