Keeping up with what’s sizzling this summer, Luxury Attaché CEO and Founder Jenene Ronick shared some of her favorite summer secrets. Answering questions from nightlife hot-spots to family vacation destinations Jenene is always in the know of all things leisure and luxury.
Q: What’s your favorite family friendly vacation destination?
A: They change with the seasons. In the fall you can find me on the search for the best hidden lobster rolls around Maine. I love to relax and unwind at the cottages at Hidden Pond and spend my days outdoors boating and biking. During the winter season you can find me at Sundance, Deer Valley and Park City. Spring time I like to head to the family friendly Viceroy Anguilla and of course my summers are spent in the Hamptons and at my home in Litchfield Connecticut.
Q: If you’re spending the weekend in NYC where is your favorite rooftop lounge or outdoor venue to be seen at?
A: PH at the downtown Dream Hotel
Q: Favorite light and fresh cocktail to mix during the summer months?
A: A Deleon Tequila margarita with soda and lime. It’s so delicious in the warm weather. It may be a bit pricey but it is well worth it and a great gift too!
Q: For a relaxing, luxurious but local getaway what destination would you recommend to your clientele?
A: The Mayflower Inn is one of my all time favorites. I would also suggest the Winvian in Connecticut for a romantic storybook weekend. Both the Mayflower and the Winvian give Luxury Attaché clients excellent discounts along with other travel perks.
Q: Traffic can be a hassle during the summer months. What other sources of transportation would you suggest to your clients for travel purposes?
A: The Standard Hotel’s New Sea Plane “StndAir” providing flights from the east river to the Hamptons on the weekends.
Q: What are your favorite summer concerts, sporting events, and activities?
A: I enjoy Jam band concerts. I love going to Jones Beach along with PNC. I always enjoy indoor events at Madison Square Garden. I’m looking forward to them re-opening in October and seeing Katy Perry there along with Knicks games. I can’t wait to entertain clients in the new ice level suites.
Q: What’s your must have summer staples in your wardrobe?
A: I can’t go without a Diana Von Furstenberg wrap dress and Jimmy Choo heels.
Q: What venues can you expect to be popular this Labor Day Weekend?
A: I love to spend Labor Day weekend out in Montauk. It’s a sleepy surf town which is wonderful for relaxing. Two of my favorite places to be seen at are Ruschmeyer and the Surf Lodge.
