Jennifer Lopez Does Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ Dance to Open the American Music Awards

Drake earned a permanent place in all our hearts when he released the music video for “Hotline Bling,” in which he displayed all his best awkward dad dance moves. The video launched a thousand internet memes and mash-ups which we still can’t stop laughing at.
Jennifer Lopez paid homage to the rapper’s mad dancing skills during her opener for the 2015 American Music Awards, which she is hosting tonight. Lopez hit the stage in a stunning bodysuit created in collaboration with DSquared2 to perform a medley of 2015′s hottest tracks. Her catsuit was embroidered with geometric designs and a generous helping of sparkle. You know once ‘Hotline Bling’ played during her set, Lopez had to break it down Drizzy style.

It’s a move we want to see J.Lo do again and again, so we made a gif of it. The majesty of Drake’s smooth moves can never really be duplicated, but we think Ms. Lopez came pretty darn close.
