Jennifer Lopez: 'My Children Know It's Their Job To Let Me Sleep'

Jennifer Lopez welcomed twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, seven years ago, but she doesn’t let being a mother get in the way of being a global superstar.

In fact, J-Lo has orchestrated a fool-proof way of making sure that she still gets enough sleep despite her busy lifestyle - she has made it her kids’ jobs.

The 46-year-old shared: “I am busy, and they know it. And they know part of their job is helping me get sleep.

"If I’m sleeping in, they’re very quiet, like, ‘Mummy needs to sleep! She worked late last night!’ We’re a team. Becoming a mum makes you stronger but also more gentle, especially with yourself–and that changes everything.”

She went on to reveal that if she’s working away from home then she makes sure that she FaceTimes the little'uns every afternoon, and even takes pictures of herself beside her children’s beds when she comes home late at night, explaining: “It’s so they know I was there.”

Jen was also keen to clear up any speculation about her love life despite being romantically linked to backing dancer Caspar Smart for years, adding that she is focusing fully on her career and children rather than relationships.

She told InStyle magazine: “I need to be happy on my own. If someone fits into that, great. But if they don’t, that’s OK too.”

Sounds like she has this whole 'busy mum’ malarkey fully under control.
