Jimmy Fallon and Kelly Clarkson Duet on Sonny and Cher, Human League Hits (Video)

Jimmy Fallon decided to take action Monday after Kelly Clarkson said she has had trouble getting other musicians to collaborate with her.

The late night host invited the platinum-selling artist to “The Tonight Show” to perform a number of duets with him, including Sonny and Cher‘s “I Got You Babe” and the Human League’s “Don’t You Want Me.”

Fallon took things up a notch when he donned a leather beret and earring to imitate Aaron Neville for “Don’t Know Much.” He and Clarkson closed things out with Paula Abdul and MC Skat Kat’s “Opposites Attract” and Lionel Riche and Diana Ross’ “My Endless Love.”

The segment was inspired by a recent interview Clarkson gave to BBC Radio. She said that she had trouble finding musicians willing to work with her on her latest album, “Piece by Piece.” “I honestly would collaborate with a lot of people, but everyone usually says no,” she said. “I’m not kidding you. I have legitimately asked several people that I’m not going to call out, and that’s cool, but I don’t know.”
