JobTabs review

JobTabs Job Search & Resume Builder centralizes all your job search resources, including resumes, cover letters, applications, reports, and contacts. It has a browser, word processor, job search agents, and other built-in tools that can help you make your best presentation to employers, including task-specific Editor, Resume, and Cover Letters Toolbars.

Pros

Quick Config: Start off on the right foot with the Quick Config wizard, which walks you through the steps of preparing your resume and job search with expert tips. Details as well as videos, slideshows, and more are found on the Resources tab.

Job search central: JobTabs centralizes your job search resources with quick-access tabs for Recruiters, Employers, Networking, Resumes, Resources, Reports, Jobs, and the Dashboard.

Dashboard: The Dashboard offers a quick overview of your calendar, timeline, job applications, and other important items.

Cons

Resource-intensive setup: We had no trouble downloading, installing, and updating JobTabs and its online resources, but some users have reported stability problems when installing or setting up the software. The issue may be due more to bandwidth than JobTabs' demands, but users with bandwidth or connectivity limitations should take note.

Bottom Line

A capable ally like JobTabs Job Search & Resume Builder can actually help motivate job seekers to keep up the search. It isn't free, but it's hardly expensive, especially considering the impressive array of tools, advice, and resources it musters to help you find and land a good job.
