Jodi Sta. Maria takes a break after "Pangako Sa 'Yo"

The actress wants to go on a journey to Israel before accepting new projects

10 Feb - Now that she has bid her farewell to the role of Amor Powers in the hit ABS-CBN remake, "Pangako Sa 'Yo", actress Jodi Sta. Maria stated that she plans to take a break from filming for a while.

As reported on Push, the actress, who attended the press conference for the finale week of the drama recently, stated that she is thankful for the opportunity to star in it.

"It's one great journey, and it's one good experience. I will never forget this," said Sta. Maria.

She admitted that playing Amor Powers, a character with so many layers, is one of the most challenging roles she has played to date.

"It was very difficult to do, but to be able to do a scene properly is fulfilling to me," she said.

When asked about her plans this year, Sta. Maria admitted that she has already been offered several projects, although she has yet to make any decision about them.

The actress added that she is planning to take a break for the time being and visit Israel with her friends next month.

"I have been to Israel five years ago, but this time I know it is going to be different. It's going to be life-changing for me. I want to learn more about the land of Jesus," she said.
