Joe and Jake For Eurovision 2016: Duo Set To Represent UK After Winning ‘You Decide’ Show

Forget about ‘Brexit’ – there’s only one thing Euro-based on our minds right now, and that’s the all-important Eurovision Song Contest.

And now, we finally know who’ll be representing the UK at the most important competition in the world (sorry Olympics) – it’s the imaginatively named Joe and Jake!

Yes folks, these good-looking lads will be flying the flag for the UK this year after winning the first public vote in absolute yonks.

And if you think they look a little familiar, it’s because you’ll recognise them off the last series of The Voice UK – getting picked for the judge’s teams.

Hey – if they’re good enough for Rita Ora and Will.i.am, then they’re good enough for us.

They’ll be singing 'You’re Not Alone’ for the competition, taking place this year in Stockholm.

After going head-to-head with hopefuls that included Bianca Claxton, Karl William and country duo Darline, the lads seemed pretty made up after winning the vote, with Joe gushing “I can’t even talk, it feels amazing”

Jake unsurprisingly agreed, saying that “It’s going to be incredible, hope we make you all proud!”

The Eurovision Song Contest will take place this year on the 14th May.
