John Boyega Teases Finn & Poe Romance In Star Wars 8
‘Star Wars 8’ star John Boyega says a romance between Finn and Poe could be possible.
During an interview with the Radio Times, the 23-year-old ‘Star Wars’ star supported the popular theory that Finn and Poe’s bromance could be a little more cosy…
“As far as I’m concerned when JJ [Abrams] sat us down to go through the script, it was a bromance,” he said. “But now I’m learning what Mark Hamill said before when he didn’t know that Darth Vader was Luke’s father: you never know what they’re going to pull.”

Of course, the idea of a romance between Finn and Poe Dameron (played by Oscar Isaac) has proved a popular one amongst shippers… but could it really happen on screen?
“What’s so funny,” said Boyega, “I posted a video the other day of myself working out, skipping, and in the background Oscar is just like, ‘Yeah baby go on!’ and people just went crazy.”
“I’m looking at the director Rian [Johnson] closely so he can get me involved early, so I can prepare myself,” he added. “So who knows?”
Would ‘Star Wars 8’ director Rian Johnson be up for it?
Of course, we’ve already seen hints that Finn has already set his sights on Rey as a potential match… but at the moment, it looks as though she doesn’t exactly reciprocate.
Will that change? For now, we’ll have to wait and see…
