The NFL has reinstated Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Brandon Joiner, who was released on Jan. 15 from a Texas prison after serving eight months for 2007 robbery and felony drug convictions.
The Bengals announced that Joiner had been cleared to rejoin the team after he was placed on the reserve/did not report list after he was sentenced in May to serve two two-year sentences concurrently. He was released on probation.
