Jon Stewart Explains How John McCain Got Photobombed by a Terrorist
The Daily Show returned from a week off last night, and Jon Stewart decided to tackle John McCain's trip to Syria, where the senator may have taken a picture with two men who may have kidnapped Shiite Muslims last year. McCain's office explained that the senator didn't actually plan to meet with these two terrorists and that neither had identified themselves by name.

"It's a murky situation and not everyone is going to be wearing their Hello I'm a Terrorist name badge," Stewart said. "Or their Ask Me About My Kidnappings button."

But McCain's office went on to say that the senator obliged Syrians who asked to take pictures with him. "Oh my God, Senator McCain is the victim of a terrorist photobombing," Stewart said.
