Jon Stewart Reads Between Romney's Lines in Israel
Some comments Mitt Romney made in Israel about culture's influence on economic growth have come under fire. Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart interpreted what exactly Romney may have been implying when he said, "You notice such a dramatically stark difference in economic vitality... culture makes all the difference." As Stewart put it: "So Romney appears to be saying that the Palestinians are purely the architects of their own poverty, or if you prefer to look at the converse, that Jews are just culturally some money-making motherf---ers."
