Jon Stewart Thinks America's Enemies Can't Just Be People Who Don't Vote Republican

The Daily Show was preoccupied on Tuesday evening with remarks by Rep. Eric Cantor, who has described his political skirmishes as a "battle for our Democracy" while also becoming concerned about the OWS "mobs." (Cantor later walked back that description). Jon Stewart then played back a highlight reel of Republicans also "pitting Americans against Americans," in Cantor's words, listing off teachers unions, liberal professors, global warming advocates, people not paying income taxes and many others as those regularly singled out by GOP politicians. He then showed a Daily Show created Venn diagram, at right, of "America's Enemies" overlapping conspicously with "People Who Don't Vote Republican."
