    This July, the Summer has no Limits at Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire

    Waterville Valley’s Annual “UGOTTA REGATTA” and Waterville Goes Country are on July 23, Paws on Packard’s Field event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 21st, The Art of Giving” on display in the Rey Center Gallery to July 30th

    Waterville Valley’s Annual “UGOTTA REGATTA” returns to the waters of Corcoran’s Pond on Saturday July 23rd Corcoran’s Pond , a 5 acre lake located next to the Town Square in the heart of the village will host canoe, kayak and paddle boat races on a designated course around the pond starting at 11:30 AM . Required registration opens at 11 AM. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 places in each event. There is a $5 per person entry fee per race.

    Following the boat races, the popular Ugotta Regatta family home-built boat race will launch from the shore. Families or groups wishing to participate in the home-built boat fun should have their boat constructed prior to event day and be prepared to launch and be ready to paddle their craft in the race by noon.

    Following the fun on the water “Waterville Goes Country" will kick in with free concerts featuring The Eric Grant Band from 2 to 5PM and The Tammy Jackson Band from 6 to 9 PM. Country concerts will be held in the Waterville Valley Town Square and are free and open to everyone.

    Based out of Gilford, NH, The Eric Grant Band has been rockin’ since 2009. Comprised of 8 professional musicians, this group has created a sound that’s captivated audiences and taken the New England country music scene by storm. Since their genesis, the Eric Grant Band has won numerous accolades; in 2010 they won every category they entered at the annual New England Country Music Organization awards- Band of the Year, Best Vocal Group, and New Country Male Vocalist of the Year.

    Fronted by husband-wife duo Tammy Jackson and Cliff Clegg, The Tammy Jackson band is a match made in heaven. The couple met at the 1995 Country Music Awards where each was honored in their own right; Tammy won Modern Female Vocalist of the year and Cliff’s band was crowned Band of the Year. Since joining forces, the couple has performed at numerous prestigious venues.

    Paws on Packard’s Field

    The Paws on Packard’s Field event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 21st. Dogs are invited for an evening of playing, fetching and just being dogs. Pet owners are invited as well. A silent auction, dog show and fetch contest are just some of the activities offered. The event is free.

    The Art of Giving

    The Margret and H.A. Rey Center and Waterville Valley Town Square present an eclectic collection of local area talent coming together in support of the Margret and H.A. Rey Center’s art education programs. We invite you to view the talent of 20 local area artists who have generously donated their work for this fundraising exhibit titled “The Art of Giving.” Their work will be on display in the Rey Center Gallery to Saturday, July 30th .

    The exhibit and the opening are free and open to the public. If you like what you see, join us on Saturday, July 30 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm for “Art, Wine and Cheese” presented by Waterville Valley Town Square. This event will feature 20 different wines for tasting and food from Diamond’s Edge North Restaurant, Wild Coyote Grill, and Jugtown Country Store of Waterville Valley, as well as cheeses from Cabot Creamery of Vermont, followed by a live and silent art auction, where you will get the opportunity to bid on your favorite works of art. Live music will be provided by Smooth Duo.

    Artists included in this month’s exhibit include Maryellen Sakura, Sarah Mazur, Ian Raymond, Annette Mitchell, Melissa Greenwalt-Yelle, Cionia Lanza, Willey Peckhan, Nancy Griswold, DJ Geribo, Paulette Brace, Annette Mitchell, Shirley Fitgerald, the Rey Center’s own Birdie Britton and more. These talented artists work in a variety of different mediums including photography, printmaking, oils, pastels, and watercolors.
