Monday’s Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber attracted a veritable who’s who of semi-lebrities armed with jabs about the fallen pop star, personal attacks about each other’s weird bodies and an alarming number of anecdotes about ISIS.

Despite the roast’s origin as an obvious PR stunt to rehabilitate Bieber’s image — roast master Kevin Hart opened with a sermon about “redemption,” and Bieber closed with a straight-t0-the-camera apology — it was actually really funny.
There weren’t too many surprises — every bit, down to Will Ferrell’s appearance as Ron Burgundy, had been published online — but some of the more twisted deliveries from the night’s MVPs (including a wonderfully filthy Martha Stewart) had to be seen to be believed.
Full disclosure: I tried to keep our gallery of best jokes relatively PG-13, but a few of the quotes, particularly Stewart’s, definitely tow the line of good taste. So you might want to clutch your pearls or whatever before you proceed…
