Kanye West is no stranger to the fashion world.

He generates plenty of media coverage with his own fashion line, as well as with his wildly successful footwear lines with Adidas. But a new collaboration with French fashion house Balmain has 'Ye stepping out of the box and in front of the camera—as a model.

Balmain's creative director, Olivier Rousteing, released a Fall 2016 campaign photo today with the caption "music meets fashion." The black-and-white image, shot by Steven Klein, features Kanye gracefully falling to the ground and model Joan Smalls frozen in mid-movement.

While this won't be the Yeezy's first time smizing for the cameras, it might be his first without a Kardashian in the frame. West and family have worked with Balmain extensively and are well-documented close friends with Rousteing, who picked 'Ye and wife Kim Kardashian-West to star in a Spring 2015 campaign together.

Who knows, West might be the only presidential candidate in 2020 to have also modeled a Fall 2016 campaign.
