  • Noise complaints from neighbors caused the music to stop at midnight at the reception following Kim Kardashian's marriage to former New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphires. The arrival of fire marshals didn't stop guests like Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan and a solo Ciara, who was one of the last to leave, from partying till nearly 2 a.m." Also reportedly enjoying themselves: Eva Longoria and new boyfriend Eduardo Cruz, whom a source says were "all over each other all night" and "making out" on the dance floor.   • Charlie Rose will be headed to the Venice Film Festival later this month as the guest of actor/director George Clooney. Rose has a small role in Clooney's upcoming political thriller The Ideas of March, which will be opening the festival August 31. [Page Six]

  • Designer Marc Jacobs is reportedly in talks with LVMH head Bernard Armault to take over the position of creative director at Christian Dior, which has been vacant since John Galiano was fired back in March following a series of anti-semetic outbursts. Women's Wear Daily notes that if Armault does get Jacobs to fill the position, he'll be poaching the designer "from his own constellation of luxury brands," since Jacobs is already art director at Louis Vuitton, an LVMH holding.   • Actress and model Kimberly Stewart, daughter of Rod Stewart, gave birth to her "as yet unnamed" baby daughter on Sunday, which also happened to be Stewart's 32nd birthday. According to US magazine, Rod Stewart and Kimberly's mom, Alana Collins, were present at the hospital for the delivery. No word on Benicio del Toro, who confirmed he was the baby's father in April.   • Despite an item in the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Sunday claiming otherwise, Jerry Lewis has not been "reinstated" as host of the Labor Day muscular dystrophy telethon he's hosted since 1966, his spokeswoman said to Reuters.
