Kevin Smith's Daughter Harley Quinn Smith Reveals She Was Almost 'Kidnapped' By Fake Uber Drivers in L.A.

Harley Quinn Smith Says She Still Took an Uber Home After Nearly Being 'Kidnapped' by Fake Drivers

Harley Quinn Smith, daughter of director Kevin Smith, is sharing her scary run-in to prevent others from experiencing what she went through.

The 16-year-old actress revealed she was almost "kidnapped" in Los Angeles when she was waiting for her Uber car service to arrive.

"I was just standing outside a Starbucks in Brentwood, where I was waiting for my Uber when a large, beige car drove up to me and tried to get me to think they were my Uber," Smith wrote on Instagram Sunday.

The vehicle displayed an Uber sign on the front window, but Smith could tell the two men in the car were not associated with the mobile car hail company.

"They were most definitely not Uber drivers," she continued. "When I asked who they were there to pick up, making sure it was the right car, they wouldn't answer me and said to get in the car."

The Yoga Hosers star has reported the incident to the police.

"They were clearly just two disgusting dudes trying to kidnap a girl standing on her own," Smith added.

"I was in too much haze of fear that I wasn't thinking straight enough to think to take a picture of the drivers or the license plate, but if you see a car like this PLEASE report it to the police and stop them from trying to pray on other young girls!!!"

That same day, Smith was comforted by her famous father with a cake that had "Sorry Men Suck" written in frosting.

"Just when I was about to lose faith in humanity after almost being kidnapped today, my dad got me this cake and made me remember that some people, like himself, make the world a lot better," she captioned the dessert photo.
