Kevin Spacey's fledgling feud with Toronto Mayor Rob Ford took an odd turn on Twitter over the weekend, when the Academy Award-winning actor tweeted an image of himself photobombing Ford and his brother after the pair complained Spacey wouldn't take a picture with them when they were guests on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" earlier this month.
Spacey and the embattled Toronto mayor were guests on Kimmel's show on March 2.
"That's the first time I've had to follow a Ford," Spacey said after Ford's appearance. "And one that was so banged up."
"He’s an arrogant SOB and I’ll tell you why,” Doug Ford said of Spacey. “Any actor who makes a living off the people that watch his shows — you can’t take a picture with him? We were told you can’t take a picture, you can’t speak to him. Who does this character think he is? He thinks he’s God? That he's up there [and] no commonfolk can take a picture?”
"I wouldn’t know him if I ran him over,” Mayor Ford said.
"You know, Kevin, why don't you get off your high horse and take pictures with people," Rob Ford continued.
But the "House of Cards" star appeared to have the last laugh, pointing his 3.25 million Twitter followers to a Tumblr page — Kevin With Common Folk — featuring photos of Spacey posing with fans.
