Khloe Kardashian Find Recluse Brother Rob ‘Infuriating’
Rob Kardashian recently melted our hearts when it was revealed that he was hoping to be a match with former brother-in-law, Lamar Odom, so that he could donate one of his kidneys to him in his hour of need.
However, the star’s sister, Khloe, has now expressed how infuriated she gets by Rob’s anti-social behaviour, with the 28-year-old sock designer retreating from the public eye a year and a half ago amid reports that he is battling severe depression after gaining a whole load of weight.
Despite being happy to have Rob live with her, 31-year-old Khlo admits that she does sometimes struggle to understand her brother, and that she loses patience with him.
When asked about Rob in an interview with PEOPLE magazine, the beauty shared: “Rob is such a great guy. He’s charming, charismatic, everything. That’s what’s so infuriating. I’m like, ‘Where is your will to live life? Let’s be around people!’
“I’ve been working on my patience. I’ve been really trying. But I have my moments and I do snap. I’ve offered to get a chef, I’m like, 'What’s your excuse?’ But it’s not just that.
“I can’t win life for Rob. I have to wait until [he’s] ready to do it for himself.”
Khloe also revealed that she thinks it’s Rob’s lack of a father figure that has left him so troubled, with their father, Rob Kardashian Senior, passing away in 2003 following a battle with cancer.
In fact, Rob’s close relationship with Khloe’s estranged husband, Lamar, was down to him acting as a father figure for the youngest of the Kardashian clan, with Khlo adding: “Once Lamar left–and it’s not Lamar’s fault at all–I think Rob didn’t know where to go. He was like, 'I don’t have guidance anymore.'”
However, she is optimistic that her brother will eventually be able to help himself, concluding with: “He has to figure it out for himself. And he has so many people who want to help him.”
We just hope that Rob gets the help that he needs to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
