When you look at the deficit and you think about what it would cost to build a colony on the moon, you ask yourself ; What was he thinking???? And then you realize that he was addressing the Florida space industry. So Newt is either guilty of lying to them, or engaging in fiscally foolish pork barrel politics.

I would rather have a good road, safe bridge to cross, and a warm classroom with lots of books instead of some frigging house on the moon. There is already a man on the moon, I know I see him every time I look at it.This bunch of people running for office needs to start thinking about Americans and their needs. What gets me is that they blame Obama for shutting the space program down. I have known for years it was shutting down..during the Bush adm. they told us...so how is that Obama's fault.

I would rather see the U.S. spend a trillion dollars on space exploration and a moon base, than an unjust war with over 4000 dead Americans.
