    Kristin Cavallari Comes Out of 'The Hills' Closet: It was Fake!

    In the last scene of "The Hills," MTV gave a visual clue to what really went on behind the scenes of the show. The backdrop was wheeled away and Kristin and Brody had a post-goodbye conversation after their "official" TV goodbye. Now the former star and the center of boy drama, Kristin Cavallari, admits that is was fake. Kristin Cavallari told Fancast that "almost all" off the final season was scripted.

    Scripted? Really? So is it more shocking that MTV actually paid writers to come up with all that angst-ridden dialogue, or the cast would actually sit down and memorize lines? While it's not a total shocker, true and loyal fans will feel the sting of disappointment.

    Kristin Cavallari Back in Action

    Cavallari must miss being in front of the camera now that "The Hills" is history. After all, how can a fashion trendsetter plug her own shoe line without appearing on TV? So where did the shoe-line promoting Cavallari show up last night? Looking for Justin Bieber's skull cap or for leftovers from the"Top Chef All-Stars" episode on "Jimmy Kimmel Live"?

    Did she sneak into the Valentine's Day "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit model segment on "The David Letterman Show"? Nope. She appeared on the Feb. 15, 2011, episode of "RuPaul's Drag Show" on VH1 and next she's hitting "The Middle" on Feb. 16 on ABC. But don't worry: Kristin Cavallari is no stranger to TV scripts.

    Kristin Cavallari Plays Along, For Shoes

    During the challenge segment on "RuPaul's Drag Show," the queens were asked to put on a mock TV news show. Cavallari was the guest star being interviewed, by a fake reporter, on a fake TV show. While she played along well, she also wasted no time in promoting her shoe line! Um, Kristin, it's not a real news show.

    In the Middle Again?

    On "The Hills," the fashionable gals who most certainly were not pals acted as if there were only two men in the entire state of California: Justin-Bobby and Brody Jenner. Kristin often found herself in the middle of broken up couples and in the middle of the drama of the hour. Now she's stepping into a scene on "The Middle," on ABC. She plays the teacher in a "hot for teacher role."
